This award is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the aeolian community through their service. Nominations are encouraged from individuals at all career-stages who meet any of the criteria. The service contribution(s) should have made a significant and demonstrable impact. Service, for this award, is to be interpreted broadly, and may include, but is not limited to:
- Service to the ISAR community and leadership in promoting aeolian research.
- Advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the field.
- Mentoring and education, from school children to early-career scientists.
- Public engagement and science communication, including outreach beyond academia.
- Application and impact of aeolian science in industry, public policy, and decision-making.
