The ISAR Early-Career Award recognizes individuals in the early stages of their careers who have made outstanding contributions to aeolian research through innovative research and exceptional community engagement. The award highlights the promise and emerging influence of the next generation of aeolian scientists.
Nominees must have been awarded their PhD within the last seven years, excluding documented career interruptions*. Evaluation will focus on research excellence, teaching/mentorship efforts, and outreach contributions . Achievements may include:
- High-quality and original publications
- Development of new approaches or insights in aeolian science
- Early evidence of leadership, collaboration, or interdisciplinary work
- Contributions to the visibility and growth of the aeolian research community
*Career interruptions should be described in a brief statement submitted with other required documents.
